Connor cuts the ribbon on his new home (with a little help from Dad).

 

This is the story of Tyler, Melissa and their little boy Connor, who moved to Lyons to work at the Center for Rural Affairs. This is their beautiful dream home that is being built on a double lot that was made available as a gift from the City of Lyons. The New Construction Program that Three Rivers is sponsoring this project by providing down payment assistance for this home and for two additional homes to be built in the next 18-24 months, also in Lyons.

Construction began in late summer of this year by the successful bid submitted by Ryan Peterson of RP Construction, Bancroft, NE. The house is scheduled to complete in late December of 2014 or early January 2015.
